Originally created for blogging, WordPress has evolved to become one of the web\u2019s most dominant Content Management Systems (CMS). <a title=\"WordPress Codex\" href=\"http:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/WordPress\" target=\"_blank\">Learn more.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s the difference between WordPress.org and WordPress.com?<\/h3>\n<p>WordPress.org is free software that anyone can download and use. WordPress.com is a blog hosting service built on the WordPress.org software. WordPress.org is a good choice for individuals and organizations looking for a more powerful, customized WordPress solution. WordPress.com is good for those who simply want to start a blog. <a title=\"WordPress.com vs WordPress.org (WordPress.com Support)\" href=\"http:\/\/en.support.wordpress.com\/com-vs-org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Learn more.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Where is WordCamp Ottawa taking place?<\/h3>\n<p>WordCamp Ottawa 2014 is taking place at the Minto Centre at Carleton University. <a href=\"\/venue\">Learn more.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Should I bring a print-out of my ticket?<\/h3>\n<p>If you registered before the final cut-off, a print-out isn\u2019t necessary. Just bring your ID and we\u2019ll take care of the rest!<\/p>\n<h3>What time does WordCamp Ottawa start and end?<\/h3>\n<p>Conference registration begins on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Please arrive around that time so we can get everyone checked in at the registration desk. Officially scheduled events begin at 8:30 a.m. and you don\u2019t want to be late \u2013 we start on time! Presentations will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., and we plan to have a <a title=\"Networking Get-Together\" href=\"https:\/\/2014.ottawa.wordcamp.org\/networking-get-together\/\">networking get-together<\/a> beginning at 6:15 p.m.<\/p>\n<h3>What is a Happiness Bar?<\/h3>\n<p>The <a title=\"Happiness Bar\" href=\"https:\/\/2014.ottawa.wordcamp.org\/happiness-bar\/\">Happiness Bar<\/a> is a special activity at WordCamp where local and visiting WordPress experts offer help and advice to other attendees who come up to the Bar with their WordPress questions.<\/p>\n<h3>Should I bring my laptop?<\/h3>\n<p>A laptop is not required, but please feel free to bring any computing devices you are comfortable with. We will have WiFi.<\/p>\n<h3>Will there be wireless Internet?<\/h3>\n<p>Yes! We\u2019ll have details on how to connect at registration.<\/p>\n<h3>Can I tweet during the sessions? Can I blog about it afterwards?<\/h3>\n<p>Please do! There will be many people tuning in to see what\u2019s going on. Use <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#%21\/search\/%23wcottawa\" target=\"_blank\">#wcottawa<\/a> so we can all follow the conversation. If you plan to live blog and post it on your website, let us know and we\u2019ll post a link to your site when we do our final roundup post. Last year we were trending and we hope to do the same this year!<\/p>\n<h3>I\u2019m from out of town!
