Optional Pre-camp Introduction to WordPress<\/h3>\n

The optional Pre-camp Introduction to WordPress<\/a> takes place Thursday, May 1, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., in Room 5050 of the Minto Centre at Carleton University.<\/p>\n

Introduction to WordPress is for you if you\u2019re a beginner who wants to learn some of the main WordPress concepts and terms before the weekend sessions. There are no prerequisites for this session. If you wish to attend Introduction to WordPress as well as the weekend WordCamp sessions, just select it in addition to the weekend sessions.<\/p>\n

Please note that the $5 ticket price does not include the main WordCamp weekend sessions, parking, WordCamp swag or food.<\/p>\n

WordCamp Ottawa 2014 weekend sessions<\/h3>\n

WordCamp Ottawa 2014 takes place on Saturday, May 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 4, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Minto Centre at Carleton University.<\/p>\n

The $30 ticket entitles you to attend the sessions, enjoy the food<\/a> offered at the event and pick up your WordCamp swag. It does not include the optional Pre-camp Introduction to WordPress or parking.<\/p>\n

Networking Get-together<\/h3>\n

Remember, at 6:15 p.m., right after Saturday’s presentations we are hosting a networking get-together<\/a> for all speakers and attendees.\u00a0 Please join us for some light food, refreshments and great conversations at Patty Boland’s Irish Pub and Eatery, 101 Clarence Street.<\/p>\n
