The optional Pre-camps take place Thursday, June 16, 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m<\/strong>. at Carleton University. Rooms will be announced soon.\u00a0If you wish to attend both a\u00a0Pre-camp and WordCamp Ottawa, simply purchase one of each ticket.<\/p>\n

Introduction to WordPress for Users<\/h3>\n

Introduction to WordPress for Users<\/a>\u00a0is for you if you\u2019re a beginner who wants to learn some of the main WordPress concepts and terms before the weekend sessions. There are no prerequisites for this session.<\/p>\n

Introduction to WordPress for Developers<\/h3>\n

Introduction to WordPress Developer<\/a>\u00a0 is for you if you\u2019re a beginning developer (or a developer with no WordPress experience) who wants to learn some of the main WordPress developer concepts and terms before the weekend sessions.\u00a0Attendees should be aware of HTML, CSS, and\u00a0PHP to get the most from this session.<\/p>\n

WordCamp Ottawa 2016<\/h2>\n

WordCamp Ottawa 2016 takes place on Saturday, June 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,<\/strong> and Sunday, June 19, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m<\/strong>., at Carleton University.<\/p>\n

The $40 ticket entitles you to attend the sessions, enjoy the food<\/a> offered at the event and pick up your WordCamp swag. It does not include the optional\u00a0pre-camps nor parking.<\/p>\n

Payment<\/h3>\n

Payment is through PayPal only, in Canadian Dollars. You can use credit cards with PayPal without having an account with PayPal.<\/p>\nPlease view this page in a browser to purchase or manage tickets.<\/a>\n

Please note that we can not offer refunds after June 5th, 2016.<\/span> If you find after purchasing your ticket that you won\u2019t be able to attend after all, you can give your ticket to someone else, offer it on Twitter using the #wcott hashtag, or simply\u00a0consider the expense a donation to the WordPress Foundation. You can change the registered name on the ticket using the links sent in your confirmation email from the registration system.<\/p>\n
