The second annual WordCamp Ottawa is now officially on!
Where, when
WordCamp Ottawa 2014 will take place in the Minto Centre at Carleton University on the May 3 – 4 weekend.
Optional Pre-camp
- Thursday, May 1, 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Introduction to WordPress for those who are new to WordPress
WordCamp Weekend
- Saturday, May 3, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., featuring 45-minute sessions in three tracks. Saturday will include lunch.
- Sunday, May 4, 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., featuring 1-hour-and-45-minute sessions in three tracks
What’s planned
The Introduction to WordPress session on Thursday aims to help beginners and those new to WordPress get their bearings before the Saturday and Sunday sessions.
The Saturday sessions will be divided into tracks to meet the needs of those who want to publish content, create sites or customize sites.
The Sunday sessions are longer to allow presenters time to dive into more involved or advanced topics. We also hope to have some hands-on workshops.
